Yesterday, I spent the day working in the garden. I sifted a bunch of top soil and then bought some potting soil and manure to fill my raised garden beds. I will post more about this in my garden blog at some point this week.

Besides working in the garden, I did a little shopping. I picked up a few things at the sporting goods store, and then went shooting at Calibers. I’ll post about that on my outdoors blog.

In the evening, I did a lot of housework. I ran three big loads of laundry, some cooking and did some weeding in the front yard.

Yesterday, I spent the day working in Socorro at NMT. I started out the day by working on some paperwork that I needed to catch up. I had a lot of that to do. Then, I taught a section of Process Safety class. This week was about electrical safety, lock-out tag-out and a few other similar topics. Then, I helped out with Junior Design. I met with each group and got caught up on what they were doing and where they had pain points.

In the evening, I commuted back to the Albuquerque area. I knocked out a project for a client and made some progress for an Upwork contract.

I went to Calibers and did some shooting with my .45, and then to the gym to do some lifting.

In the late evening, I did a little shopping and housework, but I didn’t get done all that needed to be done.

Yesterday was Good Friday, so I spent the day at home. Technically, it was a holiday on campus as well as for the Socorro shuttle, so I wasn’t about to drive into campus.

At home, I worked on several projects. I closed on refinancing the house and then had a meeting with an Upwork client. I did a few things around the house, though no nearly as many as I needed to.

I spent a bunch of time working in the yard. It was nice weather outside, so I did a little work in the yard. I didn’t go to the gym, go running or go for a bike ride, and I felt a little guilty about it, until I realized I had done 20,000 steps without actually “working out”.

I did a little shopping, too. I picked up a new gun and also a GoPro camera. I haven’t done much with the Go Pro yet, but now that the batteries are charged, I just might play with it some this afternoon.

In the evening, I didn’t do much, either. Just relaxed for a bit.

Yesterday, I was busy for most of the day. I got up a little late, but still started out by working. The day was gross, so I didn’t do much outside. Instead, I spent the day inside, and worked on a few projects around the house, including cleaning behind the oven, four loads of laundry, cleaning cat boxes and several other normal chores.

I did some shopping and some cooking as well. I always spend too much when I am shopping, but everything I bought are things we will use.

I also did some shooting. I hadn’t been to Calibers in far too long. I got out there with a .22 pistol and had a great time.

Yesterday, we started the day by having breakfast with an old friend of ours. We went out to the Range Cafe and chatted and had a great time.

After breakfast, I dropped off JoAnna at work and then did some shopping. I also put in an online order at Walmart, which was not filled correctly and was more trouble than it was worth. By the time I figured it out (7 PM pickup), it was too late to fix any of it.

In the afternoon, I got interviewed for a podcast, so that will be neat. I’ve done at least one other one over the years.

In the evening, we went to Calibers and did a little shooting. I also did laundry and some other housework.

Yesterday, I started the day a little late in Amarillo. I hopped out of bed, took a quick shower, and then we were on the road back to Rio Rancho. The trip itself was quick and without issue. I dropped JoAnna off at work and then went home.

In the afternoon, I played with the cars in our yard. I got the RV started. It looks like it is ready for travel again, when it is needed. I also was able to get the van and the Taurus engines to turn, but they neither one have gas (or old gas). At least the motors aren’t seized.

I did some shopping and some housekeeping (ran laundry), and then returned in the evening to pick her up. We went to Calibers and did a little shooting.

In the evening, I did a little more work around the house. My allergies have been bothering me, to it has been difficult to give up and go to bed each night.

Yesterday, I spent the day in Magdalena tutoring. It wasn’t a particularly eventful day; I just spent it tutoring. We will be reading the Hatchet soon, which is one of my favorite books from my 7th grade year. I’m glad the students will get to read it as well.

Along my commute, I finished up an Upwork project for a client. I have more coming in the next couple of days, so I wanted to knock that one out.

In the evening, I did a little shooting at Calibers and then lifted at the gym. I worked on a few things around the house but have not caught up on things since my trip to Florida.

Yesterday, I got quite a few things done. I spent the morning and mid afternoon working in my garden. I tore out some of my old garden beds, which were rotting away. I had these wood raised bed kits, and they deteriorated over the years. I also built a large sieve for screening my dirt to get rid of junk and old roots and rocks.

In the afternoon, I went to the shooting range and shot for a bit. My rifle stopped working and I will talk more about that in my outdoor blog.

Other than that, it was a relatively productive day. It finished unceremoniously, as I fell asleep in my chair.

Yesterday, I commuted down to NMT and worked there all day. Along my commutes, I was able to knock out three separate writing projects, so I was pleased with that.

At NMT, I taught a section of my new process safety course. I think it went okay. I also helped out with Junior Design and did a little general cleanup of laboratory spaces. I have so many ideas, and some days, I’m not motivated to do any of them. Some days, I don’t know how to do them.

In the evening, I returned to Rio Rancho. I shot at Calibers for a few minutes, and then did some lifting at the gym. Then, we played heavy metal for our cats, who both like it.

Yesterday, I spent the day at NMT. I had intended to split the day, but when I finished what needed to be finished, the day was mostly over. I decided to finish out the day at NMT.

First, I set up a few demos for some elementary school kids that are coming to visit campus today. I also gave a tour for several recruiters from a controls company. They were super nice and I hope a few of our students end up working there.

In the evening, I commuted home and did a little catching up on some smaller projects. I did some shooting and then checked into an amateur radio net.

When JoAnna got home, we went and picked up the Malibu. It turns out, I had somehow triggered the anti-theft device. The mechanic told me how to reset it if that ever happens again. When it started giving me problems (a few days ago), I had a brief spasm while I was turning the key, so maybe that’s the problem.

Overall, it was an uneventful night.
