Yesterday, JoAnna and I took a trip down to Socorro to mess around in the storage unit.  We cleaned a few things up and swapped a few things there and back.  It was a quick trip down there, but some stuff needed to be swapped.

In the afternoon, we worked on a few projects around the house.  I spent some time updating my blogs and my amateur radio logbook.  She spent a little time doing some writing.

In the evening, I did a little work in my garden.  I planted some small tomato plants and a row of corn.  While I was out there, the neighbor stopped by the fence and chatted with me.  It was good to catch up with him- we rarely cross paths, but he is a good guy.

Overall, it was a good, though hot, day.

Yesterday, I spent the morning working at NMT.  I spent some time working on the Dynamo project, but then shifted gears to do some work on the Unit Ops lab.

I did not see the bus, but one of my students was driving to Albuquerque, and wanted to talk guns, so I rode with him.  We had a good time discussing our favorites and what is next on our wishlist.

In the late afternoon, I did a little grocery shopping and then worked in the garden.  I weeded most of the large bed, and also put up the raised bed fences.  I had too many long stretches last year, and they fell over.  This year, I put some cross pieces in to brace them together.  Hopefully, this will help.

In the evening, we watched History of the World Part I, after quoting it too many times in one evening.

Yesterday, I spent part of the day working in the yard, cleaning up around the garden.  I have a lot to do before spring, as my garden is nowhere near ready.  All I managed to do was clean up some of the fluff from where Dog-Dog shredded his bed, and trip back the sagebrush from the edge of the garden.

After that, I went to a tutoring session, then did another one online.  I did some grocery shopping and then some housework.  I also did a few hours of work for Upwork, and I have a lot to go on that project.  I feel like I’m starting to slip a little, but I know I can catch up.  Next week is Spring Break at Magdalena, so I know I’ll get some extra hours in at NMT, Upwork, and so on.

I did make a few contacts in the VA QSO Party on amateur radio, however, so that was fun.

My day was pretty boring, actually.  I’m not sure why you read this, but I’m glad you do!

Yesterday, I started out the day by going for a six mile run.  It felt good to get back out there and run again, as it had been almost two weeks.  I might have been able to run little farther, but six miles seemed like a good place to stop.

After my run, I worked in my garden for about two hours.  I weeded the sweet potatoes, harvested tomatoes, beans, okra, squash and peppers, and also cut some high weeds (with pruning shears) that were growing in the row.

In the afternoon, JoAnna and I chatted a bunch, then went to the junkyard.  At the junkyard, we picked up another gas cap for the Crown Vic.  I bought a cheap-o one from Walmart, and it didn’t seal properly, so hopefully, this one will do better.

In the evening, we had dinner at Annapurna and then finished up our grocery shopping for the week.  When we returned home, I did a bunch of cooking and then called it a night.

Yesterday, I started out the day by going on a 4 mile run around my neighborhood.  It felt good to get back out there and run, as Saturday was pretty lazy.

After that, I did a little housework before meeting with one of my students on Varsity Tutors.  We had an hour and a half lesson in Physics.

In the late afternoon, JoAnna and I did some grocery shopping, and went on a quick date to Whole Foods for dinner.  We sat outside and chatted until well after dark, before heading home.

In the evening, I did some cooking and finished processing the green chile from last week.  I had peeled all of it, but had not yet run all of it through the food processor.  Now, it’s all finished.

Yesterday, I started out my morning with a five mile run.  My time was not fantastic, but it did feel good to go running again.  It had been almost a month since my last run, due to my travels and work schedule.

When I returned from running, I weeded the gardens for two hours.  I did so without a shirt, so my back is now nice and red.  I can’t wait to strap on my backpack this morning, as I’m sure that will feel great.  While I was out there, I replaced the batteries in the weather station, as the transmitter was having trouble reaching the receiver inside the house.

In the evening, I did some cooking and cleaning.  I made some delicious tuna steaks, seared and coated with pepper and Old Bay.

I also applied for a handful of jobs on UpWork, so we’ll see how that goes.  Some of them were really neat!  I also updated my amateur radio logbooks and sent a few QSL cards.

Yesterday, I spent the morning working in my garden and my sheds.  I had great summer plans of organizing both sheds and having a productive garden.  Well, summer is here, and I am way behind schedule, though I did plant 24 sweet potato plants and organize one of the sheds a bunch.

I spent the early afternoon sorting brass for reloading and organizing the larger shed.  Then, I came inside and worked on sorting through some paperwork in the house with JoAnna.  We recycled several large bags of old mail that had needed to go!

In the evening, JoAnna and I did some grocery shopping and then had a nice dinner at Whole Foods, watching the moon and the lightning.  Overall, it was a great day!
