Wilhelmina

On our way back across country after a wonderful Christmastime visit, we stopped in El Reno, OK for the night. It was a bitter cold night, and a calico cat came into our room and slept on a pillow. After talking with the hotel staff, they said the cat would likely end up in the pound, so to please take her. We brought Wilhelmina home with us, and she now sleeps on our pillows instead of the cold sidewalk.

These photos were taken in September of 2009, when we lived in Socorro.

She got really sick in January of 2018.  When she recovered, she became even more cuddly than before, insisting on being hugged each night.  This photo was taken 1/22/18:
