Fort Pulaski, GA

On November 25, 2023, I visited Fort Pulaski State Park near Savannah, GA.

Fort Pulaski was a confederate fort that protected Savannah and its essential ports. When the Union attacked it, they were able to shoot a hole through one of the walls and had a direct shot into the powder magazine. When the Confederate General realized this, he quickly surrendered.
