On August 10, 2018, Joey and I flew into Boston and took a scenic drive through Vermont. The idea was to get Joey to Vermont before he turned 18. We got him to all 48 of the contiguous states, and we were successful on this goal.
We targeted Bennington, VT, for the evening, and we went to see the monument for the Bennington Battlefield, and I took photos of that on a separate page.
We started out by renting this Nissan and hanging out in Boston traffic for fifteen forevers.
We crossed the line into VT and had to take a photo by the sign.
After a while though, we were able to get to the open roads of Vermont. It’s easy to see why the Revolutionary War fighters from this region were called the “Green Mountain Boys”.
