A hectic but fun week has come to an end. We had a really good Thanksgiving dinner and spent time with our friends and family.
I spent a few hours in the machine shop working on a few things, AoD as we call it.

My SSB Sweepstakes entry is ready to go, and now that it has been corrected: 117 QSOs, 47 zones.
I desperately need to update my logbook. I have a giant stack of QSL cards here that need to be marked as confirmed in my book, as well as a bunch that need to be sent out. I also need to send more DX envelopes to the bureau, as I have the last one in my hand!

So much left to do, and yet things are winding down at the same time. I have one more class to teach, and then they’ll just have a final report/project to turn in. That will make the last week before exams really busy.

My schedule is becoming more and more hectic, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. I am taking over the Chemical Engineering webpage and redesigning/updating it, so once the redesign is finished, updating it will be simple. I start my classroom observations this week, so I’ll hopefully knock those out quickly as well.
We lobbied and got more money for the Storm Chase Club and the Industrial Archeology Club. Overall, yesterday was a good day.

I made a lot of updates yesterday. If you check the ‘about me’ page, you’ll notice there is a few more vacations listed. I have also begun updating my QSO logs. I’m rearranging the mobile QSOs by state and county, rather than serial number.

We had a fun trip to the NM State Fair yesterday. We rode one of the ferris wheels, viewed the model train exhibit and watched an African drum group.

We acquired a couch yesterday! Nick is moving and didn’t need his anymore.

Slowly getting stuff knocked off my to-do list.
We now have a puppy.
I shot in the CMP this morning with my completed M1 Garand. I didn’t do so hot, but still had a good time, 268/500, only managing to pick up 35 points on the sitting stage rather than my usual 80+.
