Yesterday, I was able to come up with a solution for the Malibu. From my phone, I requested a $50 Walmart Gift Card from MyPoints (I had been earning one for six months, and it was ready to use). Then, I bought a tow bar on the Walmart App, and am having it shipped to my house (arriving Monday). I will tow the Malibu to my house, park it in the back yard, use it as a green house (and probably sell the virtually new tires).
I split the day between Magdalena and NMT. I started out by tutoring at Magdalena. I tutored AVID, Math Analysis and Chemistry. Then, I headed back to NMT for a group meeting and then to assist with Unit Operations Lab.
In the evening, I commuted home along the buses and trains. One guy that rides the bus with me is also a former storm chaser from Colorado, so we had a lot to talk about on the ride.
In the evening, I went to Flying Star for dinner and to do some work. I finished reading two more chapters in Atlas Shrugged, as well as one chapter of The Desire of Ages, and quite a few issues of Machine Design Today (an technology e-zine).
Overall, it was a better day than I’ve had for a few days.
Thank you for reading my post.
