3/2/17: Daily Post

Yesterday, I did quite a bit of tutoring at Magdalena.  In Physical Science, the students had a test, though I don’t think it went as well as I had hoped.

In the afternoon, I went to the Boys and Girls Ranches and we did a lab with the students.  In this particular lab, the students used marshmellows and toothpicks to make a fractal-pattern pyramid.  I think it went well, though the girls played an intense game of “chubby bunny” at the end of it.

In the evening, I stuck around the chemical engineering department until after 9 pm, as one of the groups was having problems making their solutions for spin coating.  We gave up for the night and they are going to reevaluated their methods before next Thursday.

I ended up walking most of the way to my brother’s house with one of the students, talking politics and guns, believe it or not.  Overall, it was a good time.

I had dinner and entirely too many molasses cookies before falling asleep on the couch.

Thank you for reading my post.
