I felt like I was in super-productive mode for part of yesterday. I made a bunch of phone calls that I had been putting off, as well as made a few major advances is some of my projects.
I started out by calling about my car. The crankshaft position sensor failed, and they should have it ready by Monday.
I called about having a radio repaired; they were ready to take my radio as soon as I brought it by.
I made contact with the Boys and Girls Ranches again, and will be tutoring there again.
I also turned down admission to the Introduction Leaders Program through Landmark. I will apply again next fall, but it was already underway this time around.
I made a bunch of progress towards my pH probe system. I am using some commercial software, and submitted a full gallery of screen shots to National Instruments for their recommendation. I’m not sure why I am having problems with their hardware, but hopefully they will get that sorted out.
In the evening, I had all-you-can-eat sushi with about 15 students. After sushi, we went mini-golfing and go-karting. The object with mini-golf was to screw up the other person’s shot. I did this awesomely by throwing my golf ball and hitting Carson’s right as he was about to putt. He moved the putter, but neither ball was there. It was an absolutely great night! I love it when large groups of students get together like that.
Overall, it was a great day.
Thank you for reading my post.
